Full-Time Project Manager

Melissa Sacco Interiors, known for award-winning creations and a loyal base of clients, seeks a bright, energetic, forward-thinking project manager who is passionate about quality and confident in their decisions.

This self-starter will take charge of project planning, budgeting, and execution. Positive client interactions are a must, and a collaborative partnership with vendors and staff is essential. This self-sufficient leader will turn our clients’ vision into reality by listening intently then utilizing the most suitable process for the project.

A strong work ethic and an upbeat customer service approach are required to build our customer relationships, and frequent communication, honesty, and sincerity will help maintain them. The great care and attention in every detail of our work are also given to each client.

Our project manager must take the lead when needed while always supporting the principal designer. Proper time management, with eyes on all aspects of assignments, will ensure our goals are met and adjustments made when necessary.

Details of the project manager role include the development of:

  • Proposals, meeting agendas and presentations.
  • Staff calendars, project timetables and design reviews.
  • Budgets, contracts and invoices.
  • Client expectations, production meetings and punch lists.
  • Storage, delivery and installation schedules.
  • Product selection for interior design including: furnishings, fabrics, flooring, paint, lighting, bedding, plumbing fixtures, appliances and accessories.
  • Risk assessment and contingency plans.
  • New business opportunities.
  • Smiles!

Our ideal project manager holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design, has a minimum of three years experience, and is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks. Detail-oriented candidates should also be skilled in hand sketching or computer rendering.
